Crocs, the distinctive colourful footwear brand has in recent years become a global phenomenon, with the company growing from $1 million revenue in 2003 to a projected $322 in 2006.



The combination of a fashionable, comfortable shoe has proved a huge success for Crocs and now the shoes are loved by the high street and celebrities alike with stars such as: Terri Hatcher, Al Pacino and Matt Damon all being fans.



Crocs are suitable for men, women and children and can be worn in a multitude of environments owing to the unique Croslite material. Croslite is a proprietary closed cell resin, which allows Crocs to be extremely lightweight, the original Beach model weighs less than 6oz, is odour resistant and easy to maintain. Croslite also allows Crocs to provide the utmost comfort for the wearer, as it will soften when exposed to body heat and mould to the foot.



From boating to fishing, shopping to the beach Crocs are suitable for a whole host of activities. Crocs were first created by three founders who were searching to create the perfect boat shoe, initially selling to sailing enthusiasts but soon word spread and doctors, gardeners and chefs, to name a few were all wanting to wear Crocs.



Crocs enjoyed an amazing success at the recent fashion trade show in Barcelona. The Crocs stand within the Fashion area was bursting with buyers and was busy at all times.
Crocs launched new models and colours which were extremely successful amongst Crocs followers. The long awaited Croctails party took place on the two first day of the exhibition and was very popular with customers and journalists enjoying the Mojitos and Peach Schnapps that were served at the stand whilst browsing through the ever increasing range of Crocs designs and colours.



Many of the new models will offer colour choices from the company’s latest seasonal colour palette, including celery, lavender, cotton candy and sea foam.



Crocs’ Sassari model makes its debut as the company’s first high-heeled product. With a sleek, retro-inspired design, the Sassari is a stylish slide with a prominent wedge heel and a foot bed made of the Croslite™ material. The shoe is styled to make a colourful, comfortable statement. Available in women’s sizes 4-12 US, the Sassari will be offered in six two-toned colour options, including sea foam and white.



Another new offering designed for men is the Crocs Sobek model. The ultimate men’s slide, the Sobek features a Croslite™ material foot bed and an extremely durable upper that hugs the top of the foot for added support. Ideal for sports and leisure activities, the shoe is contoured for a comfortable fit and offers double-cushion support. The Sobek is available in six two-toned colours.



The Crocling model is a new option for kids. The shoe features a traditional kids Cayman foot bed with a secure-fit neoprene upper and is designed for active kids. The Crocling will offer five patterns, including “Crocs Attack” in lime and “Flames” with a blue swirl lower and blue upper.




The six additional models in the Crocs Spring 2007 line-up include:


The Ithaca, a flip-flop for men and women
The Capri for women and the Crete for men, both offered with two-toned colour combinations and soft micro-fibre upper
The Kid’s Scutes, a two-toned version of a classic sports slide with an ultra soft, double cushioned footbed
The Cleo, an updated slide with strap pivots for women
The Patra, a women’s model with a slender footbed and two stylish straps


The new Crocs Disney range will debut with the special edition Mickey Mouse die-cut Kids Cayman models, which will be available in a range of colours including Mickey’s signature Black and red.



Other Disney Characters that will join Mickey in the Crocs range include; Winnie the Pooh and friends, Disney Princess, Disney Fairies, as well as Pirates of the Caribbean and Disney Pixar’s Toy Story and Cars.
