An operational block with projecting table and accessorized modular wall design This project by YabuPushelberg provides a practical work island equipped for the preparation and cooking of foods and a convenient dining table. Two very different uses co-existing on the same level. An unbroken surface that differs only in the choice of materials and finishes.
A work counter with incorporated table and a modular wall with shelves and sliding panels that provides a new-concept functional component. A self-contained kitchen block that can dialogue and be combined with the other Dada systems. Ferruccio Laviani’s design research continues with the study of new components that can develop innovative open-space and wall solutions. The new units revisit the bench and chest type, blending perfectly with the work counter, techno-shelf and larder unit. Simple lines, essential form, suspended masses and slender thicknesses create architecture of great character that makes a strong mark on the surrounding domestic environment. The kitchen provides a space within the space, in constant exchanges with the rest of the home. Similarly, the wall compositions with shelves and sliding panels offer modular solutions personalized to specific design needs. Inserted harmoniously into the open lounge, the kitchen is conceived as an integral part of a single space. Designed by Dante Bonuccelli to supplement and complete the operational monoblock, the larder component is conceived for a kitchen that opens onto the domestic surroundings. All closed and attentively finished, once open, the larder unit reveals an exclusive workspace featuring fine materials and sophisticated functions: a sliding stainlesssteel worktop, maxi-drawers to hold everything you need, a techno-shelf with builtin service lighting, a back fitted with utensil bar, sockets for small appliances and glass shelves with holders, knife rack and spice jars…
