FAMATEC Srl was founded in 1988 and commenced designing , engineering and manufacturing mechanical parts in the Province of Trent , northern ITALY . After the first years of rapid growth , employing highly qualified engineers with manipulator and materials handling experience , FAMATEC designed and tested proto type models in all types of working environments and released in 1997 its new generation range of unique manipulators . FAMATEC designs and manufactures pneuamtic manipulators for material handling and lifting any kind of products including characteristics and handling process up to max. 450 kg . FAMATEC manipulators are custom-made solutions to meet individual demands in regards the product's characteristics, the handling process or working conditions. The combination of their experience gained in the field of manufacturing pneumatic industrial manipulators and their extensive research and development enabled FAMATEC to introduce their revolutionary new manipulator technology to the world market. Research , dynamism , flexibility and quality of product are the strengths of the FAMATEC organization , evident in all divisions of the company to develop its business and to cater for the demands of its clients . Since 1999 FAMATEC has been certified for design and manufacture of manipulators. The UNI EN ISO 9001 (quality management) Certificate is proof of the managements concern for customer satisfaction. Since 2002 February , besides the production area operating in the Province of Trent (TAIO) , FAMATEC has also their new company headquarters in VERONA with modern functional offices and large areas for demonstration together with customer service and technical assistance.
