IMS means “ Mechanical Industry of Sommariva” and was born on the 1969 thanks to Mr. Giuseppe Aprà business vocation to supply mechanical parts for CNC machinery and for Router Milling machines tool holders.
The fields are: wood, aluminium, plastic, metal, glass, natural stone and marble working. The production mainly concerns Mill holders and over the wide standard holders range and the ability to supply special tool holders on drawing, IMS place his own production with the best quality. In the CNC metal working market IMS is operating from more than 30 years with a strong presence into the different aspects of the Italian and foreign industrial tissue. We can consider our self one of the Leaders for wood, glass and marble markets, where we supply the most important productive realities all over the world. Usually tool holders are made of hard case steel with heat treatment of cementation, carbonising and recovering with HRC 54-60 hardness. Especially concerning marble and glass field, they are coated with Niploy treatment to avoid rusting problems or, on request, can be produced on stainless steel. The all process is executed following the DIN, UNI and ASME norms. On request are available: testing certificates per lot; testing certificates per unit with identification branding.
