Fall/Winter 2007-2008
SWING
Next season’s swing collection is conceived around the idea of young, up to date, city girl. She lives and breathes the city, doesn’t miss a single, cultural event and gets the most out of her free time, enjoying the company of friends, with whom she shares her tastes and concerns. She’s cheerful, an optimist and chic with it! Fashion for her means more than just passing trends – it is an attitude, a way of looking at life and to express her image through the ways she dresses. She likes to create a stir with a young, and sexy look, a very “Sport Chic” look.
Next season’s Swing line picks up on three trends which exist side by side and interrelate to create a great variety of looks. Once again, the garments have been designed with the greatest attention to detail, with the highest level of personalisation, which has led to a collection with an image that suggests much work and personal care has gone into it, to give that quintessentially “Labanda” feel.
TRENDS
MISTIC FOREST: Inspired by the magic of Nordic forests, by their colours, by their light, it is a line of outer garments for winter wear.
FROM BERLIN TO MOSCOW: This is the most fun, ironic and fresh of all the ranges, the most Labanda of all the lines. Leaning on a clearly retro feel, it captures the essence of the former GDR and the states of the iron curtain. Here we have drawn our inspiration from the chic portrayed in such films as “Goodbye Lenin”. It is to an extent a pastiche of the cool of elite second-hand emporiums and hip European “flea market” stalls.
SHANGHAI CLUBBING: 80’S VERSION: The name given to this line speaks for itself, thought up as it was for the title of a dance mix track. This apparel has an oriental flavour, with the idea of going out clubbing in mind, marked by clear leitmotifs reminiscent of the eighties. The buzzword for this line is “Mix”. It’s sophisticated, sexy, shocking.
HANDBAGS
In keeping with the trends described, the collection is made up of four ranges. All are personalised with the same motifs and colours that run through the collection, represented by both in all over as well as specific position prints. At the same time, other techniques are used; such as embroidery or metallic extras.
Materials used range from Batanada leather to nylon and include cotton or fake leather.
As for models, each range exudes its own style, which varies from the most chic to the most casual. The accessory collections have been supported by the introduction of further complements such as wallets, purses and vanity cases in all lines.
INTIMATE
Four product lines, which are radically different from each other, go to make up the new lingerie collection.
They are essentially divided into two collections – two that are more youth orientated and two more sophisticated.
The first two have been created in viscose-elastane, and are more casual looking. The others have been made printed metallic tulle with a denim feel, and both have ribboned, hand-made crochet trim.
The two most sophisticated lines have opted for “second skin” polyamide, with trim including satin bows, lace with both position and all over prints.
LADY
BRAND SPIRIT : An ultra feminine collection for today’s real woman will always be the core value of our spirit.
SEASON’S NOVELTY : Designed for highly active women, who live from day to day with a very personal style. This is our first collection conceived for wear at any time of day, for the type of woman who wishes always to be feminine and elegant, but without renouncing the comfort of a more casual and up to the minute style.
KEY TRENDS : A style for all seasons, which combines different periods of the year in a much more daily wear mode than in previous collections.
KEY STYLE POINTS : Imagine - New York – rush hour, the hustle and bustle of the streets and the coming and going of the crowds, where one woman stands out: feminine, elegant, yet discreet. The same effect is created if we now move to a quiet afternoon in a Paris café, or a weekend somewhere in London. We’re looking at today’s woman in any big city, who stands out for her form of dressing, which we call ¨trendy easy wear¨.
