Operating since 1980, the company was established for realizing a product never been in commerce, the iron wire hanks, and the necessary machinery conceived to produce them, making therefore easier, thanks to their practical advantages, the job in a building yard.
In 1994 the Company “La Matassina” launched a new product, called “La Gramigna”, made of different iron pieces, of various diameters, length and shape, to be mixed to concrete, so as to make it much more ductile and strong.

Since then, thanks to a tireless technical innovation research and to an accurate choice of the raw material suppliers, the Company kept on progressing, improving its position in the field of structural engineering, so much that our fiber range actually includes: “La Gramigna” steel fibers, the “Polifer” polymeric fibers with additives, the “Micro-Graminflex” polypropylene micro-fiber ones, together with machinery created to disentangle, dose and load them on the concrete mixer.

During those last years our Management paid particular attention towards territorial expansion, widening its customers portfolio by means a carerful sales politics, in Italy as well as abroad. It can be therefore said that the Company, thanks to its care towards quality improvement, with a particular attention to the different customers’ needs, is extremely competitive on the actual market.
