Industrial Teflon coatings are used on carbon steel, aluminium, stainless steel, steel alloys, brass and magnesium, and also on non-metallic materials.
By combining heat resistance with virtually total chemical inertia, excellent dielectric stability and a low friction coefficient, industrial Teflon coatings have a balance of properties that cannot be outclassed by any other material.
Nordutensili uses PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) Teflon, a two-layer, non-stick coating. These products have the highest working temperature of any fluoropolymer, an extremely lower friction coefficient and good resistance to abrasion and to chemical agents.
