Conference Topic: Assessing The Opportunities And Challenges In The Slovak Automotive Industry
More than 160 senior figures from auto businesses in the CEE region attended the fourth AutoSlovakia conference from February 26 to March 1st at the Carlton Radisson in Bratislava. Francois Lecavalier, Senior Banker And Country Director Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovaneia, EBRD chaired the first day. He introduced the guest speaker, Vice Minister Peter Ziga of the Slovak Ministry Of Economy, who opened the conference with an overview of investment opportunities in Slovakia and for more than 40 minutes set out the government’s plans to support growth in Slovakia’s automotive industry. The Vice Minister delivered the presentation and answered a host of questions from the audience through a translator.
