Annual dinner and TAFF Awards moved to coincide with leading tyre industry exhibition in Manchester.

ECI International, the organiser of the UK’s only dedicated tyre trade exhibition, has announced that the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) has agreed to be the principal sponsor of Brityrex 2009.
Manchester will again act as host city and the show has been rescheduled to a new slot in September to avoid a crowded exhibition programme that includes two other major aftermarket trade shows in April and May.
The next show will run from the 22-24 September 2009 at Manchester Central (G-Mex) and the NTDA has agreed to reschedule its highly popular Annual Dinner and TAFF Awards presentation alongside the event, on 23 September.

Announcing the agreement, Paul Farrant, managing director of ECI International, said: “The NTDA has been a valued partner and supporter of the exhibition in the past and we are delighted they have agreed to become the major sponsor of the next show in 2009.
“Our ambition is to make Brityrex an event which is truly representative of all sectors of the UK tyre industry. We know that the association holds the same view and will help us to realise that goal for 2009. We were delighted with the overall feedback we received from exhibitors and visitors at the 2007 event and believe that we can continue to develop the show further in two years time. Part of that development includes moving to a new slot in September, which we believe will benefit exhibitors and visitors by avoiding clashes with other exhibitions.”
