International meeting point for innovations
One thing is already clear even before HANNOVER MESSE 2007 opens its door on 16 April - with 13 leading trade fairs being held simultaneously, visitors can expect a unique range of exhibitions at one venue.
The central theme areas are industrial automation, power transmission and control, energy technology, industrial supplies and services, future technologies and the partner country Turkey. The focus is not only on the latest products, but also their integration and interaction. The theme of Automation will be augmented next year by the "Motion Drive and Automation" (MDA) show, to be held biannually. Other leading trade fairs profile sectors such as compressed air and vacuum technology, and surface technology. The leading trade fair for Facility Management may not be new, but it is appearing with a new concept and a new name in 2007. The focus of "FM Solutions" is on innovative strategies and integrated solutions for organizing industrial companies' secondary business processes.
The partner country 2007 is Turkey. The 200 exhibitors expected to appear will showcase their country's innovativeness, versatility and growth potential on around 6,500 m² of exhibition space. Turkey's range of exhibits will cover a wide range of technology and industry sectors.
HANNOVER MESSE is not only an innovative technology show but also an international meeting point for decision-makers from industry, science, business and politics. As a platform for contact and knowledge transfer between suppliers, users and developers, HANNOVER MESSE features hundreds of special events, information forums, congresses and specialist lectures that provide the ideal conditions for an intensive exchange of information. The program is rounded off by many cross-industry and cross-theme events, such as the prize-giving ceremony for the international technology award, the HERMES AWARD, and the "Global Business Forum" in Hall 6.
Another highlight is the "World Energy Dialogue", which takes place from 17 to 19 April. In 2007, this high-profile, international discussion forum for energy experts will look at energy efficiency and the sustainability of a future energy supply.
