Design is polishing up Christofle’s silverware

Spurred on by the artistic director Brigitte Fitoussi, the French silversmith brand of Christofle pursues its creative approach through design.

The new collection "Beautiful Design" once again calls upon the services and talent of Andrée Putman who created trays and bowls in White Corian and develops the "925" jewellery line around the theme of the heart. For its third collaboration, Martin Szekely has constructed elegant candlesticks and cuts out cleaned-lined trays out of sheets of silver. After having created "skull" jewellery, Yves Savinet and Yves Rozé simplify the Elémentaires line of cutlery. Among the newcomers, Sam Baron, Jean-Marc Gady and Guillaume Gallois divert the baroque codes of the Marly pattern on USB keys, pocket mirrors or picture frames. A wink and a veiled reference to the students of the ECAL University of art and design in Lausanne with a precious solid silver case for storing condoms.
