The Galeries Lafayette are settling down in Dubaï
It is in the Dubaï Mall shopping centre that the Galeries Lafayette will inaugurate in 2008, a three-level 16,000 m² store, dedicated to fashion and to the French art of living.
This operation is the result of a partnership between Gard Investments, the administrator of the Monoprix and the BHV stores in the Middle East, and the Emaar group which manages the 340,000m² shopping centre. The French store chain group is confirming its willingness to internationalize. The next step: Asia. "The store chain group is already studying several projects, notably in Shanghaï and in Macao", announces the distributor.
