The 21st edition of Xylexpo NEW will start on Tuesday May 27th and will be held in the exhibition centre of Fiera Milano-Rho. A record edition: the huge Biennial international exhibition of woodworking technology and furniture industry supplies will welcome 853 exhibitors (804 in 2006) over a 75,675 sqm exhibition surface ( 73,200 in the past edition). The attendance level of foreign technology suppliers is excellent (248 from 38 countries, the top record of the exhibition). The ranking is headed by Germany (90 exhibitors), followed by Taiwan (27), China(19), Spainand Austria (both with 15 exhibitors), Switzerland (13).
The expectations are optimistic also as to visitors - which amounted to 93,266 in 2006 with the attendance record of foreign visitors (48,008, 51,5 percent of the total).
